VOTER ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to vote in this election, you MUST be a current SAME AND San Antonio Post member as shown on the current membership rosters available at the Post website.

VOTING PROCEDURES:

In the ballot, you will be asked to select the candidate of your choice for each of the five (5) available positions. You can also choose to identify WRITE-IN candidate(s) for position(s). If you do so, select "WRITE-IN" for the position in the drop-down menu, then enter the name of the individual in the box where it says WRITE-IN candidate for that position.

Please be sure when entering any WRITE-IN candidate(s) that they are: (1) members of the Post; (2) interested in serving in the position; (3) and have the time to serve in the position.

CANDIDATES:

Here are your candidates for this year’s Post Elections:

2019 Vice President/2020 President-Elect

Eric Wilbur: Eric of Wilbur Consulting has more than 35 years of public and private sector experience executing some of the largest capital improvement programs and construction projects in the world. He has been involved in SAME for 30 years. Eric has been a San Antonio Post member since 2006 and actively involved in a wide variety of San Antonio Post activities: Basura Bash, Operation Float a Soldier, Warrior & Family Support Center Work Days, Alamo Regional Science & Engineering Fair, Texas Science & Engineering Fair, Small Business Market Research Fair, STEM Activities, UTSA Student Chapter start up, and the E&M Fund Golf Tournament. He attended the 2015 SAME San Antonio Post Leadership Lab, served as the 2015 Assistant Director of the Leadership Lab and was the 2016 Leadership Lab Director and on the 2015 and 2016 Post Board . He is currently serving as the 2017-2018 Director of Personal Growth on the Post Board.

2019 Treasurer

Sam Hutchins IV, F.SAME: Sam works for City of San Antonio and manages the Transportation and Capital Improvements project management software and schedulers. He has served as our Post Treasurer since 2002 and served as a Post Golf Committee volunteer helping make our Post Education & Mentoring Fund Golf Tournament a huge success each year.

2019 Secretary

1. Lily Cartwright: Lily works for FPM Remediations and is a Federal contractor for the identification and remediation of environmentally contaminated sites. She is a SAME Young Member, was a member of the Post’s 2017 Leadership Lab and lead the Post volunteers supporting our 2017 Operation Float a Soldier Day. She was recently appointed to serve as the Assistant Secretary on the Post Board. Lily wants to engage with the SAME Community at a level of greater responsibility and learn more from mentors in SAME and our industry while supporting the goals of the Post .

2. Sarah Fowlkes: Sarah works for AmaTerra and handles the marketing efforts for the company. She has served the past two years on the Post’s Small Business Committee and worked the sponsorships and running of the one-on-one sessions for our Small Business Market Research Fair. Sarah currently is a member of the 2018 Leadership Lab and was recently appointed to serve as Secretary on the Post Board. She wants to continue to serve the Post to the best of her ability .

3. Jennifer Peters: Jennifer is a project manager and scientist with Terracon Consultants and Is responsible for ensuring that clients comply with the National Environmental Policy Act. She was a members of the 2017 Leadership Lab and has been a volunteer for our Post’s STEM and Wounded Warrior events. Jennifer is currently completing her term as Treasurer for Air and Waste Management Association Alamo Chapter and served as Secretary for San Antonio Ducks Unlimited Chapter from 2012-2016. She appreciates how the Post promotes STEM education as well as educating those who have a career within STEM and wants to be more involved with the Post.

2019-20 Director, Professional Development

Joshua Graham: Joshua manages and prioritizes all of the Air Education & Training Command Facility Sustain Restoration and Modernization program across the 11 bases which consists of 11,735 facilities valued at $26.4B. He served on the Post Scholarship Committee, was a 2016 Leadership Lab member, has been the Post Engineering & Construction Camp Coordinator, helped establish the UTSA Student Chapter, and currently serves as the Post’s UTSA Student Chapter Mentor. Joshua has served on the Post Board for the past 2 years and wants to take his involvement to the next level with an elected position.

2019-20 Director, Personal Growth

John Enyeart: John is the Tech Advisor of the Readiness Division at the Air Force Installation & Mission Support Center and oversees the readiness measures, reporting and resourcing of readiness for all Air Force mission support group functions including civil engineers. He has served on the Post Board as our Director of Resilience since 2011 and served as Acting President/Vice President of the Big Sky Post from 2003-2005. John wishes to expand beyond the resilience program and mentor the many members the Post has to further that growth.
